How are payments handled?
All payments are processed securely through Mercury’s platform. This ensures both you and the service provider are protected.
What happens if there’s a dispute with a service provider?
Mercury encourages both clients and providers to resolve disputes through good-faith discussions first. If a resolution isn’t reached within 30 days, disputes will be handled through binding arbitration, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Exceptions: Intellectual property disputes, small claims court cases, and urgent court orders (injunctive relief) can be handled outside arbitration. Class actions are not permitted, and disputes will always be resolved individually. You also have the right to opt out of arbitration within 30 days of agreeing to our terms, if your jurisdiction allows. For disputes that need to proceed in court, Delaware law will apply, and the case will be handled in courts near Dover, Delaware.
